The Counties Chess Club has taken over from the Franklin Chess Club as of 1 Jan 2020 the Franklin Chess Club  was created in August 2000.

The Counties Chess Club is a friendly club whose aim is to provide a fun and stimulating environment for all people, young and old, to learn about and enjoy Chess, but at the same time we will be running Club Competitions and Interclub Matches against many teams not just from Auckland .

Club Nights are on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month .
